Dear Division Governors of D51-P
New Year Greetings from LGET-P's desk.
As we inch closer towards the conclusion of the TLI2, next major event would be the Club Speech Contests followed by Area, Div, District and International. The guiding terms are as embodied in the Speech Contest Rulebook 2010.
Pls familiarise with the rules and regulations while ensuring the appointed Contest Chairs and Chief Judges are fully aware of them. This is very important and indeed a learning process that we have to nurture upon all our Toastmasters. Start sowing the seeds as part of your leadership training.
As advised for the earlier 2 contests, the district would like to retain its policy on the selection sequence as follows :
1) The District would like to exercise the option to allow the 2 highest placed available contestants from each club to contest in the AREA CONTEST for AREAS WITH 4 CLUBS OR LESS, EIGHT WEEKS PRIOR TO THE AREA CONTEST;
2) We would also like to exercise the option to allow the 2 highest placed available contestants from each area to contest in the DIVISION CONTEST for DIVISIONS WITH 4 AREAS OF LESS;
I look forward to hear your contest dates so that I could attend some of it, if not all.
