Message from Lieutenant Governor Eduation & Trainning(R)

Picking Up Momentum Through Active Participation

Eugene F. Ware, an American poet once said, “All glory comes from daring to begin”. The same could be said about the impending reformation of District 51.

With a new beginning looming for clubs in East Malaysia, Indonesia and Brunei next term, we must strive to continue instilling the courage to conquer and savour glory by speaking our way to magical transformation through ACTIVE PARTICIPATION in the Toastmasters program.

As members, we must understand that leadership and communication development is a process of building self-confidence which in turn equips us with the ability and skills to touch and enrich the lives of others. This can only be achieved if we ACTIVELY PARTICIPATE in the program.

While it is exciting to embark on a new journey, the preparations are equally challenging. The key tasks are to ensure a smooth reformation process and most importantly to build a strong foundation (education and membership development) for the new reformed district.

To achieve this, let us all start by PICKING UP THE MOMENTUM NOW! I strongly believe that this is the best strategy to propel us stronger into the new district settings. Let us all take another step toward the pinnacle of glory.

Let’s Pick Up the Momentum!

Let’s Actively Participate!

MOHAMAD ARIFF AZAHARI, DTM
Lieutenant Governor Education & Training (R)
District 51 2009-2010
